The Banc de Sang i Teixits considers research as a strategic activity for providing top-quality services with maximum safety, rapidly incorporating the improvements gained in its field of activity, and helping to develop new diagnostic and therapeutic tools.

We conduct our own research projects and take part in others in cooperation with all the healthcare centres forming part of the Catalan Healthcare Institute and with many of those in the Public Hospital Network, as well as with Catalan universities. We also promote strategic alliances with research centres all round the world.
