Human Milk Bank

The bank's human milk is given to high-risk premature infants who cannot be breastfed by their own mothers. Breast milk is easier for them to digest and minimises the risk of developing certain health complications at a critical moment in their lives.

In Catalonia, hundreds of high-risk premature babies have received human milk from the bank thanks to the altruistic donations of mothers with a surplus milk supply.
