As there is a risk of infection, it is necessary to wait until the wound has healed, which will depend on the type of procedure:

Examination: can be performed without time restrictions.

Cleaning: you must wait 24 hours, even if you are taking preventative antibiotics.

Fillings and root canals: you must wait between 24 and 72 hours.

• Extraction, implant, complex procedure: you must wait until the wound has been healed for at least 7 days.
• Phlegmon: you must wait 2 weeks from the end of antibiotic treatment.
• Bone tissue implant: the suitability of the tissue must be assessed.
