If it is an isolated episode or due to diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome, you can give blood once you are feeling well.

You must wait 2 weeks to give blood if the episode is due to gastroenteritis.

If you suffer from Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, we are sorry to inform you that you cannot be a blood donor.
