If you have had an accidental needlestick with materials contaminated with blood or other human fluids, we are sorry to inform you that you will have to wait 4 months before giving blood.

If the exposure was not from a needlestick but was through contact with body mucous membranes, such as the mouth, nose, etc., or through the eyes, you must also wait 4 months before giving blood.
