Viral haemorrhagic fever
With a history of haemorrhagic fever, unfortunately you cannot be a blood donor.
If you have had contact with affected patients, you can donate provided that 6 months have passed since your last contact and you are feeling well.
If you return from an area where there have been cases of haemorrhagic fever, such as Ebola or Dengue, you cannot give blood for 6 months after leaving the affected area.
