Antiandrogens

These types of drugs are prescribed for different reasons, which may or may not be grounds for exclusion.

We regret to inform you that you cannot give blood if you have ever taken:

Bicalutamide, cyproterone acetate or flutamide for cancer.

The following medications require temporary exclusion:

• Dutasteride, for up to 6 months after finishing treatment.
• Finasteride, for up to 1 month after finishing treatment.
