Herpes

  1. Herpes simplex: if you have cold sores, you can give blood if the lesions are healing and you do not have any tingling or discomfort in the affected area. If the herpes is in the genital and/or anal region, please contact atencioaldonant(ELIMINAR)@bst.cat or call (+34) 93 557 35 66. We will share your case with our medical team to address your enquiry.
  2. Herpes zoster (shingles): you must put off giving blood until 2 weeks after you have recovered.
