High blood pressure

You can give blood if, at the time of donation, your systolic blood pressure is below 180 mmHg and your diastolic blood pressure is below 100 mmHg.

You can give blood if you are taking a beta-blocker medication such as atenolol, propranolol or bisoprolol, provided the dose has not changed in the last four weeks, your blood pressure is within the specified limits and your pulse is over 60 beats per minute.
