It is not an exclusion criterion, provided you are feeling well. If you are experiencing any associated symptoms or are undergoing treatment, you must wait until these have resolved and the treatment has finished before giving blood.

If you have had congenital haemolytic anaemia, we are sorry to inform you that you cannot be a blood donor.
