COVID-19

If you have had COVID-19, you must wait 7 days from the end of your symptoms before you can give blood.

If you have been in contact with someone who has had COVID-19 but you are fully vaccinated and have no symptoms, you can give blood as usual.

The COVID-19 vaccination does not prevent you from donating blood or plasma. However, if you experience any side effects such as a fever or general feeling of unwellness, you will need to wait 7 days.
