It is not an exclusion criterion in itself, but should be taken into account if associated with an infection of the sores.

In case of medical treatment:

Antibiotics, you must wait 14 days after completing the treatment.

Isotretinoin, you must wait 1 month after taking the last dose.

Acitretin, you must wait 3 years after taking the last dose.

The following treatments do not exclude you from donating: topical retinoid treatment, prophylactic oral antibiotics (e.g. tetracycline or erythromycin), or cyproterone acetate with ethinylestradiol.
