If you suffer from acute intoxication, you cannot give blood until you have recovered. If you have been diagnosed with chronic alcoholism, we are sorry to inform you that you cannot be a blood donor.

Please be aware that if you have taken disulfiram in the last 7 days, you cannot give blood.
