We regret to inform you that you cannot be a blood donor if you have the disease or anti-HIV antibodies.
If you live with an infected person or someone with antibodies, you can be a donor provided you are not a sexual partner.
If you are a sexual partner, you cannot give blood until 1 year has passed since your last sexual contact.
If you have received HIV prophylaxis, you can donate once 1 year has passed since the end of the treatment and you have been medically discharged.
If you have had exposure to the blood of a person with HIV, you must wait 1 year before giving blood.
