Endocrine diseases
You can give blood if you have:
- Diabetes treated without insulin.
- Thyroid or parathyroid disease related to a confirmed benign tumour.
We are sorry to inform you that you cannot be a blood donor in the following situations:
- Diabetes treated with insulin.
- Endocrine disease due to a malignant tumour.
- Diabetes insipidus.
- Adrenal insufficiency (Addison's disease).
