Venereal or sexually transmitted diseases

If you have been diagnosed with a venereal disease, you can give blood one year after recovery, provided that you have not had any high-risk sexual intercourse in the last 4 months.

We are sorry to inform you that you cannot be a donor in the following circumstances:

  1. Lymphogranuloma venereum.
  2. Granuloma inguinale.
  3. Syphilis (see Syphilis).
