Antibiotics

If you take antibiotics for an infection, you must wait two weeks from the end of the treatment, provided the underlying cause has been resolved.
You can give blood if you have been prescribed prophylactically as a preventative measure and you do not have an infection.
If you take antibiotics such as erythromycin, tetracycline or other antibiotics orally or topically to treat acne, you can give blood.
